In case the tenant has caused damages to your property and the damages are not normal wear and tear and the cost for the fixing the damages exceeds the deposit, Renthia will further cover the damages up to a value of 15,000 SEK given the following has taken place:
- The tenant has paid the Renthia guarantee according to the contract during the rental period.
- The landlord has contacted Renthia within 5 calendar days after end inspection.
- Within 5 calendar days after Renthia has been notified about the damages, the landlord mus send all necessary documentation to strengthen the proof of damages, together with a price suggestion or receipt for reparation. Following documents are required.
- a) Photo of the damage caused by the tenant.
- b) A written report presenting what has been damaged.
- c) Copy/receipt of the value of the damages.
- Renthia will contact the tenant and a relevant third party if necessary to verify the landlord's provided information.
- Renthia will do a age reduction of furniture and machines such as dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and other similar objects according to the following:
- 0-1 year = 0 % age reduction from original value.
- 1-2 year = 20 % age reduction from original value.
- 2-5 year = 30 % age reduction from original value.
- 5 year > = 50 % age reduction from original value.
